As the number three Northwest Missouri State Bearcats get ready to play their next game in the playoffs, they will have a chance tomorrow to avenge their season-opening loss.  Tomorrow, the Bearcats will be in the Lone Star state to take on the number two Texas A&M Kingsville Javelinas.

The Bearcats and Javelinas met in week one of the season, with Texas A&M coming away with a 16-7 win.  The Bearcats and the Javelinas both come into the game with identical 10-1 records.

Last week, Northwest had to rally from a 17-0 deficit to come away with a 28-24 win over Missouri Western.

This will be the first playoff game for the Javelinas, who had a bye in the first round.

If the Bearcats win tomorrow, they will play the winner of the Abilene Christian or Central Missouri in the quarterfinals.

Northwest Missouri State and Texas A&M Kingsville will kick off tomorrow at 1:00 at Javelina Stadium.
