It was quite a night for the Mizzou women’s basketball team as they upset the number 12 team in the nation at the Paradise Jam in the Virgin Islands. The Tigers would beat the Georgetown Hoyas by a final score of 54-45.
Senior RaeShara Brown had a double double for the Tigers. She would finish with 17 points and 11 rebounds.
Junior hristine Flores and Senior Jasmyn Otote would both put in 12 points for Mizzou. The win moves the Tigers record to 2-2 on the season.
Mizzou will play their next game in the Paradise Jam tomorrow against Georgia Tech.
