International consulting firm Mercer will buy Hammond Associates of Clayton.
Mercer specializes in human resources, benefit and financial consulting. Hammond is an expert on advising non-profits. The Mercer acquisition shouldn’t have an impact on Hammond or the St. Louis economy. Hammond CEO Dennis Hammond says Mercer wants to retain all 128 Hammond employees and keep the company in Clayton.
