The Missouri Tigers got a late start on their basketball season, but will catch up to the rest of Division I teams in the next couple of weeks with a flurry of games that begins tonight in Cancun when the Tigers play Wyoming in the semifinals of the Cancun Challenge.

After back to back games in Cancun, the Tigers return home Sunday to play Arkansas-Pine Bluff before a game on the 30th against Georgetown at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, MO. Mizzou then travels to Oregon on December 2nd, before returning home for four straight games in a 10 day span.

Missouri will play five in the next nine days. The Tigers forced a school record 34 turnovers, including 21 in the first half … The previous record was 31 by Canisius on Nov. 25 1991, and then 31 by West Texas State on Dec. 5, 1980. Head coach Mike Anderson is nearly a milestone. Anderson has 90 wins and 46 losses in Columbia, an excellent winning percentage of .662 … Anderson won 89 games as well at UAB and has 179 career victories.
