Egg recall affects Missouri consumers

A Mississippi company has issued an egg recall to the eight states it ships eggs to, including Missouri.

Cal Maine sells eggs to Walmart and other stores.

The Department of Health is contacting food retailers who might carry the recalled eggs to get them pulled from the shelves, but says consumers who believe they might have purchased potentially affected eggs should not eat them but should return them to the store where they were purchased for a full refund.
