A former Columbia resident charged in a 1976 murder case has pleaded guilty in St. Louis County to violating his probation. Johnny Wright will be sentenced on that charge in February. He was on probation for a 1977 stealing charge.

Wright is accused in the 1976 disappearance of Columbia waitress Rebecca Doisy, whose body has never been found. He was caught in Georgia earlier this year. He apparently had lived there under an assumed name for more than 30 years.
