Marcel Goc of the Nashville Predators beat Blues goalie Jaroslav Halak in an overtime shootout to hand the Blues their second loss after winning seven straight. The Blues dropped a 3-2 decision.

J.P. Dumont tied the game at 2-2 for Nashville with just under seven minutes to play to force overtime. The Blues grabbed a 2-1 in the third when Matt D’Agostino scored his sixth of the season less than six minutes into the third.

The Blues had a 1-0 lead after the first period when David Backes scored his second of the season with less than two minutes to go in the first period. The Blues were outshot 26-20 after regulation and got three more off in the five minute overtime period while allowing a shot against.

In the shootout, D’Agostino scored in the shootout for the Blues while Cal O’Reilly scored in the shootout along wiht Goc. It was also O’Reilly who scored in the second period for Nashville to tie the game at 1-1.
