Missouri women’s basketball coach Robin Pingeton made her debut last night at Mizzou Arena in a 67-60 exhibition win over Missouri Western. Mizzou got a game high 25 points from Christine Flores. Western shot 40-percent (10-25) from three point range with Lauren Nolke scoring 12 points on 4 of 6 shooting from long range.

Flores was 10 of 19 from the field, including 2 of 4 from behind the arc, in 27 minutes for the Tigers. Senior RaeShara Brown had a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds, to go along with a game high six assists. Freshman Paige Spietz made three of her four shot attempts to finish with seven points and senior Jasmyn Otote nabbed four steals.

For Missouri Western, Jessica Koch finished the night with a double-double scoring 15 points and snaring 10 rebounds. She made 6 of 11 field goal attempts and 2 of 2 free throws. Kallie Schoonover finished with 10 points on 3 of 6 shooting which included 2 for 2 from long range. Brenna Saline led the charge on the boards collecting 12 rebounds.

Mizzou concludes exhibition play with a 2 p.m. contest against Oklahoma City on Sunday, Nov. 7. The Tigers then hit the road to officially start the season with Memphis on Friday, Nov. 12 at 5 p.m. in Memphis, Tenn.
