University of Missouri-Columbia Chancellor Brady Deaton says MU will not press trespassing charges against 30 fans arrested for storming Faurot Field after MU defated Oklahoma in the Homecoming football game.

MU released a statement from Deaton in which he says the game against Oklahoma presented officials with unique circumstances. He says that after careful review, the university has decided against forwarding the summons for trespassing on the field at the MU-OU game to the city prosecutor.

Though thousands ran on to the field after Mizzou’s 36-27 win Saturday, only 30 were arrested. Several had joined in to ask for leniency for those arrested.
