Chiefs rookie wide receiver Dexter McCluster, who suffered what the team is calling a lower leg injury against the Jacksonville Jaguars, did not practice on Wednesday. Earlier in the week he was sporting a walking boot and was on crutches.

The Chiefs also signed linebacker Mark Simoneau. He’s a nine year vet with 123 games of experience, but he hasn’t played since the 2006 season. He spent much of his time with Philadelphia, (at least that’s what I remember), but during training camp in 2007 he suffered a neck and back injury and hasn’t played since then.
