Brad Edwards, BCS analyst for ESPN spoke with me on his drive from Jefferson City up to Columbia as ESPN’s Radio College Game Day prepares for their seven hour broadcast from just outside of Mizzou Arena from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Brad breaks down the MU-OU game and explains why he doesn’t think OU will last long at number one.

Plus, Edwards breaks down the BCS formula and tells us why we shouldn’t get too excited about Missouri’s initial BCS ranking of 11th, unless…they can beat Oklahoma and then Nebraska. By doing that, Edwards believes the Tigers will get the national respect they need to move up in the human polls that account for 2/3 of the BCS formula…the Coaches and Harris Poll.
