Senator Bond accuses the military of discharging soldiers suffering from combat stress instead of treating them. Bond says the Pentagon has refused to provide him with discharge data. He and some other Senators have told Defense Secretary Robert Gates they are worried the military is kicking stressed troops out of the service without formal diagnoses that could qualify them for disability.
