The Chiefs have had an interesting week of planning for the Jacksonville Jaguars. There is the possibility that the Jags could start one of four quarterbacks. Starter David Garrard was hurt in the Monday night game with a concussion and backup Trent Edwards injured his thumb on his throwing hand.

Jacksonville went out this week and signed free agents Todd Bouman and Patrick Ramsey. Neither Garrard or Edwards practiced on Wednesday, but Chiefs head coach Todd Haley said the first thing the defense is doing is preparing that either Garrard or Edwards will make the start, stating both are tough guys and competitors and will do everything they can to get on the field.

While Jacksonville was manhandled in the loss to Tennessee, quarterback Matt Cassel still sees a very solid defense and another tough task ahead of them on Sunday. “Well we are watching tape right now on Jacksonville. Obviously the game didn’t go exactly how they wanted the other night but I think that they are a good defense and a physical defense and we are going to have to bring our A game on Sunday.”
