Four objections have been filed to a proposed bankruptcy settlement proposed for the warranty firm US Fidelis. One of the objections comes from Attorney General Chris Koster, who thinks the brothers who own the company are getting to keep too much money and other assets.

The deal struck by brothers Darain and Cory Atkinson would shield them from lawsuits from US Fidelis creditors and from the company itself and allow each brother to keep one-half million dollars plus some cars, jewelry, and some household items.

The company, based in Wentzville, says the Atkinson brothers funneled more than $100 million  away from the company.

A hearing comes up tomorrow in federal bankruptcy court.
