St. Louis native Becky Sauerbrunn is one of 20 women who are making up the U.S. women’s national soccer team that will compete for World Cup qualifying which will take place later this month in Cancun, Mexico. Sauerbrunn, the only player in the short two-season history of Women’s Professional Soccer (WPS) to play every minute of all of her club’s regular season games, makes the qualifying roster after being a late and last addition to the USA’s training camp due to an injury to another player.

On October 28th, the U.S. will face Haiti, followed by Guatemala on October 30th, before rounding out play on November 1st against Costa Rica.
