Team USA baseball didn’t get a chance to finish up their third place game at the Pan American qualifying tournament against Venezuela on Wednesday in San Juan, Puerto Rico because of rain. The team did qualify for the games which will be played in October of 2011 and a couple of Royals’ prospects performed well for the team that went 9-1 at the tournament.

First baseman Eric Hosmer hit .389 with an on-base percentage of .511 over the USA’s 10 games.
