The Perry County coroner says the Sikeston man who jumped off a creek bridge Sunday night intended to do it, but he did not intend to commit suicide.
He’s classified the death of 32-year old Chris Grindstaff as an accidental drowning. He did not resurface after jumping into the creek. The bridge had signs at both ends saying “no jumping.”
