American Airlines plans to recall 545 flight attendants, all former TWA employees, to meet demand for international flights.
It also plans to recall 250 pilots. Most of the flight attendants will be based in St. Louis, where American has a hub. The growth in international flights stems from American’s alliance with British Airways and Spain’s Iberia.
