A 5-year old boy has been rescued from a 15-foot deep drainage hole in Kansas City. A fire department spokesman says the boy managed to get the mtal plate covering the foot-wide hole off the top of it and fell. Rescuers had to go through a nearby manhole and remove him through an underground sewer. It apears he suffered only minor injuries.
