Derrick Washington, the former Missouri tailback who was permanently suspended from the team after being charged with a felony for sexual assault, was arrested again, this time for allegedly hitting an ex-girlfriend.  The alleged victim in this case is not the same victim.

According to the Columbia Daily Tribune, Columbia police called to the victim’s residence at the Grindstone Canyon Apartment complex at 1:30 a.m. Sunday. The police report said that the victim’s shirt had blood on it and that her nose was also bloodied and her forehead was swollen.

Police picked up Washington later in the morning at his apartment and denied hitting the victim.   Third-degree domestic assault is a misdemeanor. He posted $1,000 bond and was released.
