Gov. Nixon’s office says three more broadband projects in Missouri have been notified they will receive $57.6 million in federal funding to expand broadband availability across the state.

The projects from Sho-Me Technologies, Cass County and the Missouri Department of Higher Education will result in an investment of more than $71 million in the state,  and will reach 31 counties.

The projects are partners in the Governor’s MoBroadbandNow initiative, which has obtained more than $192.1 million so far in the competitive funding process.
