Thieves have used the long holiday weekend to bore through a 6-inch concrete block wall and through the six-inch thick side of a steel safe Kansas City jewelry store. They’ve gotten away with a large amount of loose diamonds, gold chains and rings.
The owner of the store on the Country Club Plaza won’t say what the value is of the items taken.
