Owners of a downtown St. Louis nightclub are pleading their case before municipal court in an effort to keep the city from shutting the nightclub down.
City officials complain that Lure Nightclub has been linked to violence, public drunkenness and lewd behavior. Club officials counter that police have made assumptions that those caught in such behavior are patrons of the club.
