Although history, as some have noted, is written by the victors, it also is made by the vanquished, which is why the World War I Museum in Kansas City is setting up a special exhibit showing the war from the German side.
Officials at the nation’s only museum dedicated entirely to World War I have told the Kansas City Star they think it’s a first for an American museum. The exhibit runs through the end of next year.
