Five companies have filed applications for Missouri’s only remaining casino license. Two applications are from St. Louis and St. Louis County. Two competing companies want to get a casino in Sugar Creek. One application has come in from Cape Girardeau.
The gaming commission staff will investigate the applicants for several weeks and hopes to have a finalist for the commission to consider by the end of the year.
The five applications are from:
Casino Celebration, LLC St. Louis, Missouri
North County Development, LLC Spanish Lake, MO
Sunway Gaming LLC Sugar Creek, MO
Epic Gaming LLC Sugar Creek, Missouri.
