The 53-year-old Jackson resident was certified Tuesday to appear on the November 2 ballot as an Independent candidate for the 8th Congressional seat. He gathered over 7,400 signatures from all 28 counties in the district. He needed just over 5,000 to be certified to appear on the ballot. Bill says he’s giving frustrated voters another choice.

Bill says he also favors term limits in Congress, energy independence, immigration reform, and eliminating federal mandates to states. Bill and his wife have been the only financial contributors to his campaign.

He faces incumbent Republican Jo Ann Emerson, Democrat Tommy Sowers, Libertarian Rick Vandeven in the November election.
