The USA Baseball Women’s National Team, finished off the 2010 IBAF Women’s World Cup with a bronze model on Sunday after beating host Venezuela by a 15-5 score. Mizzou softball star Jenna Marston was on team USA playing short, right field and doing some pitching.
On Sunday, the softball shortstop hit two doubles and drove in two runs. She hit .593, which was second best for the entire tournament. She also was the tournament leader with 16 hits and eight doubles. As a pitcher, Marston was 1-1 with a 1.91 ERA. In 11 innings pitched, she struck out six batters.
