It appears proposals to re-shape the park around the Arch in St. Louis are a big hit.
Mayor Francis Slay says he’s very happy with what he sees. St. Louis area members of Congress seem pleased. Five proposals to revamp the federal park which has the Arch as its center-piece as well as the riverfront park there have gone on public display. They will even be part of a traveling exhibit. Next, the designers will present their proposals before an eight-member jury. A winner will be chosen September 24th.
