How about a forecast that stays in the 80s?

That’s what’s in store for us today as dry Canadian high pressure has moderated temperatures throughout Missouri, driving the highs down from the upper 90s to the upper 80s.

The National Weather Service predicts a high today in Kansas City and St. Joseph of 86. In St. Louis, the high should reach 87. Springfield has a predicted high of 88, across the state in southeast Missouri’s Cape Girardeau it should be 89. It’s predicted to be 83 in northeast Missouri’s Kirksville and in central Missouri, Jefferson City and Columbia expect a high today of 87.

We might get some rain tomorrow, at least in northern Missouri where some thunderstorms might pop up.
