The couple charged with kidnapping a four-year old Miller County boy last month has been returned to New Mexico from Arizona and are being held without bond. Elizabeth Denman and boyfriend Mark Cochran are to be arraigned on 21 charges on August 25th in Gallup, NM.

Denman is the mother of Devon Denman, who was kidnapped at gunpoint from his father’s home on July 10, the day before his fifth birthday. They abandoned him in the car after New Mexico State police flattened the tires of their car during a 100-mile an hour chase and fled on foot in the dark. They were caught a couple of days later in Arizona.

They’re being held in the McKinley County, NM Adult Detention Center. They’ll eventually be returned to Missouri to face other charges here.
