Life, no parole, for former Cabool resident Alvis Volner, who killed a man and dumped his body in a Laclede County quarry two years ago. His brother Benny, already is doing life for his part in the murder of Dustin Skaggs. A cousin is in prison for 15 years for his part in the killing. The cousin’s wife is awaiting trial for murder. The prosecutor thinks Skaggs was kileld because it was thought he was daing the ex-wife of Benny Volner.
