The Cardinals found themselves down 4-0 heading into the bottom of the 8th, but managed to score three runs in the 8th and then two more in the 9th to pull off the 5-4 win Sunday afternoon at Busch Stadium.

Allen Craig doubled in Brendan Ryan who led off the 8th with a walk and Jon Jay who walked with one out. Randy Winn later singled to score Craig, but that made the score 4-3 heading into the bottom of the ninth.

Facing closer Jonathan Broxton, Yadier Molina led off with a single and moved to second on a bunt. Felipe Lopez flew out and there were two away. Jay drew another walk and Allen Craig came up big again with a single to score Molina with Jay stopping at second. Matt Holliday delivered the winner on a hit to right to score Jay and rally the Cardinals back to victory.

The Dodgers scored one run off Jeff Suppan who left after six innings. The game appeared to slip away from the Cardinals in the seventh when Mitchell Boggs gave up three runs in two-thirds of an inning.
