The Team USA-Canada gold medal hockey game drew an average of 27.6 million Americans. Kansas City and St. Louis ranked 12th and 13th among TV markets with just about the same 19.5/19.4% of homes in those two cities watching the game.

Milwaukee was the only market without a NHL team in the top 10. The surprise market was West Palm Beach, just ahead of Kansas City and St. Louis at number 11. The top two markets Buffalo and Pittsburgh, featured Team USA goalie Ryan Miller who plays for the Sabres and Sidney Crosby who scored the game winning goal for Canada plays for the Penguins.

The St. Louis Blues are back in action tonight with the start of six straight road games with Phoenix on the schedule tonight. The Blues four points out of a playoff spot with 20 games to go.
