Northern Iowa, which won an outright Missouri Valley Conference men’s basketball title for the first time in its history, has earned the No. 1 seed for MVC Tournament for the second-straight year. The Missouri State Bears behind second year coach Cuonzo Martin are 7th.
This year’s tournament will be the 20th-straight in St. Louis and it begins on Thursday, March 4, at Scottrade Center in St. Louis.
