Royals report with a full squad in Surprise

All 64 Royals are expected today in Surprise, Arizona for their first official workouts. Jose Guillen got in last night after making funeral arrangements for a sibling.  Manager Trey Hillman will have a lot of options to choose from this year in the outfield.  One thing for sure, David DeJesus is in those plans.

Carnahan warns of investment scams

The Secretary of State’s Investor Protection Division ”can tell you if investor is registered with the state, if the product is registered, or if they’ve had any problems in Missouri before, because if they have, that ought to be a red flag warning,” says Secretary Robin Carnahan.
 
Her office has released a list of the top threats to Missouri investors, off-books sales topping the list. Other options that can cause financial detriment to the unwise are real estate investor schemes, oil and gas investment opportunities, variable and euqity indexed annuities and generally improper sales techniques.

Rams will lower ticket prices for 2010

When you don’t win, you need to cut ticket prices and that’s what the St. Louis Rams are doing for 2010. About two-thirds of the seats at the Dome will decrease in price, with savings ranging from $30 to $190 per season ticket over last year’s cost.
