Blackhawks edge Blues

The Blackhawks got two first period goals while the Blues were 1 for 7 on the power play and Hawks goalie Antti Niemi made 34 saves as the Blues can’t rally past Chicago and lose 2-1. The Blues are now 9-16-5 on home ice as the Hawks are 10-1-2 in the second game on back to back games.

Missouri State takes care of Creighton

Missouri State used a 17-0 run midway through the second half and never trailed in a 70-52 win over visiting Creighton in men’s basketball action on Saturday night before 9,101 fans at JQH Arena.

Mizzou wins easily in Colorado

Marcus Denmon scored 22 points and Kim English finished with 11 as the Missouri Tigers bounced back from their home loss on Wednesday to beat Colorado in Boulder 84-66 Saturday afternoon.

Tigers Head For Mountains

The Mizzou Tigers take their show on the road for a game this afternoon in Boulder against the Colorado Buffaloes. For the Tigers, they will be trying to forget their loss on Wednesday night at the Mizzou Arena against Texas A & M, which brought to an end their 32 game home court winning streak.

Blues And Hawks Deja Vu

For the second time this week, the St. Louis Blues will take on the Chicago Blackhawks. But, this time the game is at the Scottrade Center. On Wednesday night, the tilt was at the United Center and the Blues walked away with a 3-2 win.
