Mules roll in the high desert

The No. 1 Central Missouri Mules got their shot back on day two of the Las Vegas High Desert Classic, and coasted to a 102-81 win over Long Island-C.W. Post. Senior forward Sanijay Watts led the way with a career-high 33 points. The 10-0 mark is the fastest start since 2006-07 for Central Missouri, when the Mules set the school record by winning their first 19 games.

Jermaine Mallett and Adam Leonard scored 15 apiece, and Missouri State outrebounded Saint Louis by a 35-28 margin to secure a 73-63 non-conference win at Chaifetz Arena and improve to 10-0.
