The Missouri Tigers didn’t have much of an answer for Vanderbilt’s inside play. A.J. Ogilvy led the Commodores with 25 points on 7 of 10 shooting, plus 11 of 12 from the free throw line , as the Tigers came up short losing 89-83 despite a late game rally.

The No. 2 Central Missouri Mules shot 78% in the second half and won 115-99 over No. 7 Southwest Baptist on Wednesday night. SBU was without All-American center, and the nation’s preseason Player of the Year, Matt Rogers, who sat out with an ankle injury.
Bears move to 6-0 after road win
Missouri State improved to 6-0 on the season with a 75-62 win at Arkansas-Little Rock (3-5) on Wednesday night at Jack Stephens Center. The Bears were led by freshman Michael Porter with 16 points, while Caleb Patterson scored 14 — both off the bench.
Bill to reform insurance coverage for autism reemerges
A bill that would mandate insurance companies pay for behavioral treatment for autism failed to pass the legislature last session. A renewed attempt for the upcoming session is in the works.
Currently, insurance companies do not have to cover Applied Behavioral Analysis Thereapy — ABA — for children with autism. A bill prefiled by Representative Dwight Scharnhorst of Manchester would change that.
