Trouble coming for possible Mizzou bowl opponent

The Missouri Tigers will give out the official word on which bowl they are headed to this Sunday at 5:30pm once the conference championships have been played on Saturday. However, many sources are saying the Tigers are likely headed to the Insight Bowl on December 31st in Arizona. One possible opponent, Michigan State has some internal issues they are dealing with this week.

According to ESPN.com, eight players from their football team were suspended for taking part in a fight on campus back on November 22nd. Spartans coach Mark Dantonio kicked two non-starters off of the team and four of the players involved in the fight started at times for Michigan State. I’m keeping an eye on this situation, because Michigan State is likely headed to the Insight Bowl or Alamo Bowl.

I would think there would have to be an advantage for Missouri if they are matched up with State, given all of the off field distractions that team may be going through over the next month.
