Patrick Ross, the head football coach at Lindenwood University, joins us for an interview as his Lions are in the NAIA football semifinals for the second year in a row. The Lions are undefeated and ranked third in the nation. They return to Carroll, Montana where the Lions were one point away from tying the game up last year. Instead, Ross went for two points and the win, but failed on the two point conversion and their season ended with a 38-37 loss.

Ross talks about that decision and why he went for the win. Most coaches always say if they had to do it over again, they would make the same call. Well, Coach Ross may have that opportunity again and without hesitation, he says he’ll go for the win. Plus we also talk about how he’s built the Lions into a national powerhouse. Lindenwood set a school record by scoring 37 points in the third quarter to beat 5th ranked Ottawa 64-26 in the quarterfinals.
