Washington University wins 10th D-III VB title

Washington University-St. Louis won their 10th NCAA Division III national title on Saturday with a 3-1 win over Juaiata on Saturday. It was the fifth time these two teams played each other for a national title.

Lindenwood football wins NAIA playoff opener

The No. 3 Lindenwood football team advanced to the quarterfinal round of the NAIA Football Championship Series on Saturday with a 42-14 victory over No. 20 Langston.

Bearcats handle Abilene Christian

Northwest Missouri State running back LaRon Council scored four touchdowns to lead the second-ranked Bearcats to a 35-10 win against 18th-ranked Abilene Christian in a second-round NCAA playoff game Saturday at Bearcat Stadium.

Mizzou knocks wind out of Cyclones 34-24

The Missouri Tigers improved their record on the season to 7-4 (3-4 in Big 12) with a 34-24 win over the Iowa State Cyclones before 55,573 fans Saturday afternoon at Faurot Field in Columbia.
