Quarterfinal action in the Missouri state high school football playoffs started last night for teams in Class 6.  Oakville beat Fox 45-17, DeSmet beat Jefferson City 27-6, and Blue Springs just got by Rockhurst 23-21.  This afternoon, Hazelwood Central and Lafayette will play.

Quarterfinal action will also take place this afternoon for teams in Class 1 through Class 5. 

In Class 1, Valle Catholic will take on Miller, Adrian plays at Tipton, Marceline travels to Wellington Napolean and Hamilton plays at Mid-Buchanan. 

In Class 2, Caruthersville plays at Brentwood, Centralia is at Clark County, Lamar makes the trip to Fair Grove and Hogan Prep is at Maryville. 

Class 3 action has New Madrid County taking on Priory, Mexico is at Bowling Green, Cassville is on the road against Logan Rogersville and O’Hara is at Pleasant Hill. 

In Class 4, Ladue is at Sikeston, Helias is at Normandy, Webb City is at Bolivar and Harrisonville is at Kearney. 

Class 5 action has Chaminade playing at Webster Groves, Parkway North at Parkway Central, Raytown South is at Nixa and Ft. Osage is at Raymore Peculiar. 

All of this afternoon’s games will kick off at 1:30.
