The Mizzou Tiger basketball team finishes up the exhibition part of their season last night at the Mizzou Arena with a 83-60 win over Northwest Missouri State.

The Tigers would have just a 45-32 lead at the half.  The Tigers did have a lead of as many of 31 points, but numerous fouls on both teams would keep the game close.

It was not an easy game for the Tigers as they shot just 38 percent from the floor and 23 percent from behind the 3 point arch.  The Mizzou defense did a good job of forcing 30 turnovers.

Laurence Bowers and Marcus Denmon each had 13 points for Mizzou.

The Tigers will open the regular season this Tuesday night at the Mizzou Arena against the University of Tennessee-Martin.  That game will start at 7:00.
