The Final Four in each of the four state high school volleyball classes are set after this weekend’s quarterfinals play. The semis will be play on Friday, November 6th with the finals and third place games set for Saturday at the Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City.
Youth deer hunt successful, programs throughout the state offer hunting courses

The first Youth Deer Hunt of the season saw hundreds of Missouri’s young hunters take to the woods over the weekend. The Missouri Department of Conservation has several programs in place to encourage youngsters to hunt safely.

Brian Flowers is an outdoors specialist who heads up hunter education courses for the Department of Conservation. He says there are several opportunities for kids to learn how to hunt safely.
Each region has its own programs and the department teaches hunter safety education throughout the state, in every county, he says.
