The Tigers picked up their first Big 12 win of the season on Saturday and knows that Baylor, who is 0-4 in the Big 12 will be coming in hungry. Missouri coach Gary Pinkel met with the media Monday afternoon.

Pinkel says that while the win was good, there is still much room for improvement on the offensive side of the ball. Pinkel is stressing consistency. The running game is coming along better. Derrick Washington was a yard shy of 100 yards and Blaine Gabbert is moving around much better which should begin to open up more opportunities downfield.

The defense created turnovers and that has Pinkel pleased. Much of that had to do with the pass rush that the front four got on the CU quarterback. Baylor struggled this last week in picking up Nebraska’s rush and I think Mizzou’s defensive line is right there in terms of talent with the Huskers. So, I expect another good game from the Mizzou front four.
