Three teenagers killed in Poplar Bluff accident

Police in Poplar Bluff are investigating the deaths of three teenagers who were killed when the car they were in ran off the road and became submerged in a creek that had been swollen by the rain.

It happened shortly after 7:30 Friday morning. Two vehicles ended up in the water. The occupant of one of the cars was rescued but the three occupants of the other car drowned before they could be pulled out. [Read more...]

Rams Try To Break Losing Streak In Detroit

For the 0-7 St. Louis Rams, maybe, just maybe, a trip this weekend to Detroit to take on the 1-5 Lions, will be the cure for the team with the league’s longest losing streak. The Rams are facing the Lions for the first time since 2006 and for the first time in Detroit since 2003.

Lions Take On Ravens

The number three NAIA team in the nation, the Lindenwood Lions, will be back on the field Saturday after having last week off. The Lions will be at home to take on the Benedictine College Ravens.
