Mizzou soccer takes Big 12 regular season title

The Missouri women’s soccer team clinched the Big 12 regular season title after a 5-0 win Sunday afternoon against Nebraska. Junior Alysha Bonnick scored twice to help the team win the first Big 12 regular season title for any Missouri sports program since the softball team won it in 1997.

Senior Kristin Andrighetto scored her team leading eighth goal of the season in the 73rd minute. The Tigers are now 12-4-3 overall and 7-0-3 in the Big 12. The Tigers will close out regular season play at Kansas on Friday, Oct. 30, at 3 p.m.
