The Central Missouri Jennies defeated the Missouri Southern Lions, 3-0 (25-19, 25-18, 25-13), and pushed their winning streak to 18 matches. There has not been a consecutive wins streak like it in 10 years. In 1999, under Head Coach Peggy Martin, CMSU won 18 in a row.

Central (26-3, 12-1) went to work, scoring the first four points of the match, and led 10-4 before long. The Jens would take the first set, allowing the Lions (11-15, 4-8) to hit a respectable .303. Despite the efficient Southern offense, Centrals was better, hitting .500 while committing only one attack error. UCM also coasted in the final two sets to get the win.

UCM will be at Emporia State on Wednesday, October 28 for a 7 p.m. match. On Friday the Jennies will host Washburn at 7 p.m. in the Multipurpose Building.
