Bears hold off N.D. State

The Missouri State football Bears (5-3, 3-2) played opportunistic football on offense and used three big defensive sequences backed up against their own goal line late in the game to pull out a 21-17 Missouri Valley Football Conference win over the North Dakota State Bison (1-7, 0-5) Saturday in the FargoDome.

Missouri Western loses in OT

The Missouri Western football team gave up 21 unanswered fourth quarter points falling to the Missouri Southern Lions,  35-34. Northwest Missouri State wins in OT

LaRon Council’s 1-yard leap into the end zone in overtime gave fourth-ranked Northwest Missouri State a 22-19 win against 16th-ranked Washburn on homecoming Saturday at Bearcat Stadium.
