State parks to lose more than 100 employees

Fifteen percent of the people who run our state parks system are losing their jobs.

The state has 715 people who manage and maintain state parks and historic sites. But the economy will cost more than 100 of them their jobs. [click to continue…]

Skelton urges Obama to send more resources to Afghanistan

NW Missouri State and Missouri Western solidify playoff hopes

#15 Missouri Western rushed for 223 yards on 49 carriers as they beat #14 Central Missouri 36-21 on the Griffons’ on Homecoming. The 5th ranked Northwest Missouri Bearcats continue to roll along after their 45-12 at Emporia State.

Missouri State’s Harbor and Hottelman grab MVC honors
